1/20/2016 - Crime Stoppers Cornerstone Award Recipient

CSGW Cornerstone Award

Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) unveiled The Cornerstone Award and announced the inaugural recipient is Brad Barbour of Guelph. Here, from left, Program Coordinator Sarah Bowers-Peter holds the Cornerstone Plaque while Brad Barbour accepts the Cornerstone Award from CSGW Treasurer John Svensson. Barbour has been an enthusiastic supporter of the program, which provides a safe, anonymous method of reporting crime.

11/27/2015 - Crime Stoppers and Home Hardware Fundraising Event

Bucket Sale Fundraiser

CSGW partnered up for the first time with Young`s Home Hardware in Mount Forest for their annual Bucket Sale Fundraiser.

The event took place on Friday November 27th and Saturday November 28th. We`d like to thank our Board members and volunteers for their participation.

A huge thank you to Young’s Home Hardware in Mount Forest for giving us the opportunity. What a great community! we raised $1,641.45.


11/15/2015 - Santa Claus Parades

Santa Claus Parades


Thank you to everyone who came out on such a warm sunny November day for the Guelph Santa Claus parade which took place on November 15th. It sounds like there was a huge crowd this year. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves.



CSGW participated in their first night time parade on Friday December 4th in Mount Forest. Thank you to everyone...including our very own Max!

This season, we are partnering with the Guelph Storm and have we have eleven(11) tickets remaining for this game:

9/12/2015 - Community Shredding Event

Community Shredding Event



This was our 1st year to offer this fundraising event in the north end of our county. It was held at the Fire Station in Mount Forest on October 31st.

THANK YOU to the community for their support! A great success in raising $945 for our program. Thank you to everyone who help promote this event and to our new partner – FileBank who donated their services for this great cause. Watch for details again for next year!







THANK YOU to the community who made this our most successful year yet. Donations received exceeded $2,300 which will go towards paying tipsters for their anonymous information  on crimes.

6/18/2015 - BBQ at County of Wellington Property Auction

Crime Stoppers at the County of Wellington O.P.P. Property Auction

This year`s barbecue event was held once again at Parr Auctions north of Fergus on June 18th and was a HUGE success! Thanks to generous patrons who offered donations in exchange for a sausage or hot dog and beverage, we garnered over $590.00.

The tent, products, cooking equipment and staff were provided compliments of Piller`s Fine Foods, while the pop was donated by Walsh`s IDA Pharmacy of Arthur and the water was donated by Nestle Waters of Aberfoyle. 

Many thanks to our volunteers!
