4th Annual Community Shredding Event
Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington teamed up for the second year with Integra Document Destruction and held a community shredding event on Saturday September 27th at Stone Road Mall.
Thank you to our community, our volunteers and our media partners for making this happen. It was our most successful year yet! We were able to raise $1,854.00 that will go towards paying rewards to our tipsters and towards education and promotion of our program. Thank you to the Guelph Police Service for their continued support and specifically officer Michael Gatto for his attendance.
Look for us again next fall. We will post the date on our website, once it is confirmed – please continue to check us out at www.crimestoppersguelphwellington.com. As the time nears we will also advertise through our media - via radio, newspaper, TV, Facebook and twitter.

|6/14/2014 - BBQ at County of Wellington Property Auction|
Crime Stoppers BBQ Fundraiser in conjunction with the County of Wellington Property Auction
This year`s event was held on Saturday June 14th at a NEW location of Parr Auctions located 6km north of Fergus.
Thank you to our volunteers and to our sponsors: 100 Mile Food Services Ltd. In Fergus, Nestle Waters in Aberfoyle and the County of Wellington.
Our BBQ was a success raising $347.00 which will go directly back into our program to help pay rewards to tipsters for their valuable information on crimes. Thank your to the community for your support - a great turnout!

Guelph Police Service hosted their annual Open House on May 10th, 2014 at their headquarters in Guelph. This was their best turn out ever with approximately 1,000 people in attendance!
We are very appreciative of the support we received from our “Friends of Crime Stoppers” volunteers who participated in this event.
|5/10/2014 - Mulch Sale Fundraiser|
The Crime Stoppers Mulch Sale Fundraising Events are over for another year. Thank you to our community members for your support!
Thank you to the Guelph Police Service for their ongoing support in promoting our event and for their presence at the event. Thank you to the Wellington County O.P.P. for their support and lending a hand. Thank you to the O.P.P. auxiliary officers for their efforts and to the MEDIA for promoting our event!
We couldn’t have done it without the support we received from the local fire halls and businesses who helped promote the event on their road signs. As well as businesses who posted our flyer at their office locations, and messages to their customers.
A huge thank you to our VOLUNTEERS - they worked hard and we certainly couldn`t have done it without them.
Thank you to Scotiabank for their financial support and for their team of volunteers who participated on the day of the events.
Thank you to our partner Alltreat Farms and to all you wonderful community members who value our cause in the fight against crime.

Guelph Santa Claus Parade
The rain held off and the temperatures were above seasonal, making a wonderful day for the Guelph Santa Claus Parade on November 17th.
Thank you to our volunteers who had a lot of fun with the spectators.
We hope all that came out had a fun time! Watch for us again next year.

Crime Stoppers and Guelph Freshco Joint BBQ
We wish to acknowledge the continued support we receive from Freshco, located at 330 Speedvale Avenue, East in Guelph.

This year`s community BBQ was held on Saturday August 24th. Attendance was low this year, but regardless we still received positive feedback from the customers. This community has always greatly supported our program and we thank you for your donations.
Money raised will go directly to paying tipster rewards for information they provide on crimes that occur right here in Guelph. If not for the efforts of the Crime Stoppers program and our reward incentives, some crimes would go unsolved.
|8/19/2013 - Flag Raising 25 years|
Celebrating 25 years!
Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington held a flag raising ceremony on Monday August 19th at Guelph City Hall.
We wish to thank Councillor Len Griffiths, Councillor Leanne Piper, MP Frank Valeriote, Inspector Scott Lawson, Chief Bryan Larkin, and Cst. Mike Gatto for their attendance and speeches. Thank you to Reporter Kris Svela for coming out.
Not in attendance was MPP Ted Arnott and MP Michael who send along their remarks to be read at the event and we thank them for their acknowledgment.
